Safety valves have a protective function for the water heater from accumulating internal pressure in the system and, moreover, limit or prevent the return of hot water to the manifold. Valve forgiving when reaching the nominal pressure value for which is dimensioned and again is fully closed when the system pressure drops 20% below nominal pressure of the valve. The output pressure of the valve is calibrated by the manufacturer and can not be changed. When using the SW TANK relief valve careful not to be mounted in a vertical or horizontal position, but never turned 180 degrees, which could lead to clogging of the valve. The safety valve is made according to European standards of ISO 228. The maximum operating temperature to 110 °C.
